The Evaluation Report on the Impact of the Instructional Leadership Programme (ILP) was officially launched by An Taoiseach Micheál Martin T.D. on Monday, 12 October 2026, at Buswells Hotel, Dublin.
This important research study was commissioned by ILP/ETBI and conducted independently by researchers at Dublin City University, led by Dr Barry Morrissey, Dr Aoife Brennan, and Dr Alan Gorman. The report examines how participation in the Instructional Leadership Programme has impacted on post-primary teachers’ individual and collective professional practice, as well as student engagement. We look forward to using the findings to inform the future development of the programme.
